Ohio12
I know by Kindergarten DD1 was listining to chapter books on audio. DD2 really isn't interested in that quite yet. She likes an audio book that has some stories and some songs. Does anyone have any recs for this? The one we have that she loves is by Steve Green. Sir Bernard the Good Knight. She listens to it over and over.
Staceyshoe
I wanted to share my experience with my ds. He hated listening to audio books which I used to try to play while he was doing art projects. Recently we started listening to them in the car, and he loves it. I guess it helps having nothing else to do, but he consistently asks me to start the audio book as soon as the car is turned on. If you haven't tried it in the car, it might be worth trying some fun chapter books in the car. My ds particularly likes E.B. White, Winnie the Pooh, and Boxcar Children. Moonbeam Jones
My ds enjoyed Winnie the Pooh and Farmer Boy. Also, both ds enjoy these: http://www.worldsgreateststories.com/ Word for word from the Bible, along with sound effects. Very entertaining!
