misidawnrn
I am just looking into something else. Another thread got me thinking that I really don't like the FLL (sorry SWB). What do you like for grammar for a 1st grader? Thanks!
robsiew
Growing with Grammar is gentle, yet has good skills in it. Doesn't demand a lot of writing. For best results I suggest going over each lesson with your dc first, then setting them loose on the page. My 6 y/o ds is extremely pencil phobic, otherwise I would have put him in it. I did go with FLL for him for this reason.
Woodland_Mom
Maybe MCT?
Whereneverever
I'm using R&S 2 for our 1st grade grammar. It's a lot of writing, though, so if you have a reluctant writer it's not a good fit.
everlastingstarflower
We used Shurley Grammar but, we did not do the writing portions. We just did the grammar portion of the book with the jingles to learn the parts of speech and the practice books. We used Writing With Ease for writing. It has been a good fit because what we've learned in grammar we've been able to apply to our Latin grammar too.
