Hi, I'm Krissy. I have been a "lurker" for the past couple of months and have finally decided to join! This is mostly due to the fact that I have a question. My daughter will be a senior this year and I am trying to find a math program for her. She has used Teaching Textbooks for all of high school and is finishing up Algebra 2. She is not a math or science girl and has no desire to pursue any fields that require extensive knowledge in either of those areas. I have been looking at Dave Ramsey's Foundations in Personal Finance. Have any of you used it? Is it a math/consumer math course or is it economics? I know that it is only one semester. What would you recommend for the second semester? Also...

Last year she took Apologia's Chemistry Course. It really burned her out and the other areas of her school work suffered because of the time she put into it. So, here is my question: What Science curriculum would you reccomend for her next year? I have considered Apologia's Marine Biology but am afraid it would take up to much time (She needs to devote most of her time to English/Writing). I was looking at Answers In Genesis Astronomy All-in-One Kit. Do any of you have experience with the curricula? Is it really high school level? How much credit is it worth? Any input would be much appreciated!!! Thank you!
