When having someone over for lunch after church...

Recommended Posts

Is 30 minutes an acceptable amount of time before serving the food? I usually make sure the meal I make is 100% done and ready to put on the table. However, I decided to serve chicken...made in the crocke pot, so that will be done...with salad which I made this evening...carrots which I will have to warm up...and, biscuits which I will need to mix and pop in the oven. So, I think it will be about 30 minutes before food will be ready. Does that seem reasonable?

I think that sounds fine! :)

I like Carol's suggestion...especially if your church gets out late like ours does! :D Maybe just some veggie sticks and dip or fruit or something to snack on while you wait...this comes in handy for kids especially!
