s/o exercise ball? How?

So I have one....am thinking about it.

 

How are you supposed to sit on it? I was sitting on it and felt some tension in my legs but not the core. I was sitting up with straight posture.

 

Is there a special way? I have the size for my height.

 

I was thinking about it for the kids for the wiggles.

 

Perhaps the chair disks would be better?

 

Thoughts?
