free memory work outline/resources?

can anyone direct me to a free resource that lists essential memory work for the k-6 years? i don't have it in my budge to buy anything at present, but would like a kind of outline to use for memorizing key facts, etc. thanks.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but someone (sorry I can't remember who deserves credit) linked this site a couple of weeks ago. It looks interesting, but it involves a lot of printing.

We use this and really like it. It looks really geat printed out, it keeps everything organized and moving along.

There was a really great link somewhere, I wish I had saved it...does anyone know what I'm talking about? It was a link that took us to a document that someone (I think from this board?) had made of TONS of things for children to memorize...it was great!!

thanks for the links everyone. they are both great, but keep them coming if you have anymore. also any ideas on how to memorize them would be great also. is there a song for memorizing history dates? thanks everyone.

we just started school, but i bought little spiral bound note card books. i'm going to have one for each subject of memory work. i put the first 3 catechism questions in his catechism one today and he loved it. he reads the ? on the front and flips it over to see the answer. after a while i'll start quzzing him and having him quiz himself as well

which catechism do you use? i am trying to find one to use with my girls.
