Lori D.
We have used many (most?) of these, though I included a few suggestions from other people as well. We did not feel the individual guide from SMARR (we tried the one for Epic of Gilgamesh), or the Novel Unit guides, were worthwhile. BEST of luck in your literature adventures! angela in ohio
We have used TLP, PP, Logos, and VP over the years. I think, if you want more than just literature discussion/ reading comprehension, TLP is great. If you like to handle grammar and writing in a more relaxed, Ruth Beechick way, it would be perfect. Out of the other three, PP has the most depth and variety in its questions. I was disappointed to find the VP questions rather similar and too often just about recalling what happened. I liked the projects included, though. Logos was about the same as the VP.

Any more details from you or others would be GREATLY appreciated. I don't know what to order. I also have no idea, or not much of an idea, as to which books to study and at what levels. For example, I know that I would love us to do To Kill a Mockingbird, but that will probably wait till 9th or 10th grades.
