joannqn Posted June 5, 2010 Share Posted June 5, 2010 My son is ready for algebra next year. My plan was to use MUS, followed by Art of Problem Solving Introduction to Algebra. MUS is working very well for us so far. However, I was able to get a copy of a used Scott Foresman Algebra First Course (1981) today for free. I feel pretty confident I could teach other program. I'm hesitant to leave what is working; however, a free textbook has its lure. Anyone know anything about this textbook? Which would you chose for a young, math minded student?
