Hunter's Moon
I was looking into Math U See. I then figured I would use Life of Fred as a supplement with Math U See. Well, now I looked more into Teaching Textbooks. AND THEY GO OVER EVERY PROBLEM!!! (Sorry to yell, just say wha'?) Lol. Would getting Life of Fred Trigonometry still be suggested if I am getting Pre-Calc Teaching Textbooks, or are they pretty full in themselves? Hunter's Moon
But TT doesn't have Calculus, while MUS does. Hmmmm.... I'd like to stay with one program, if possible.
Julie of KY
I think LOF is a great supplement to either.
Rosie_0801
From what I've read, at that level LOF is a stand alone if you use the the home companions. It depends how well you learn from that style, I guess. Rosie
Jann in TX
Be aware that what TT calls 'Pre-Calc' is mostly Algebra 2--only 30 or so lessons of actual Pre-Calc material... so it is a VERY lite Pre-Calc course....it only touches on the basics... momof8
I'm going to do the same thing next year as well. Use Life of Fred Trig and Teaching Texbooks Pre Calc. I really like both.
