Willow
For people who have used Latin Prep by Galore Park... What does one need to buy? There seems to be a book, an answer book, workbooks A and B and answer books, a puzzle book and also a CD. Do we need all of these? We are 'slow and steady' people rather than 'rush on through' people! This means we would normally go for all the materials, but this adds up to a lot of money. Thank you Willow. Laura Corin
The basic set is the text book and answer book. If you want to take it slow and steady, I would recommend the two workbooks and the answer book for them. The CD is not essential (the text book includes a pronunciation guide) and the puzzle book isn't very useful, I don't find. Best wishes Laura
Greta
If you want to take a slow and steady approach, then I would recommend the workbook. I think it's very helpful. But you could just buy workbook A for now and wait on B until you have more money. That's exactly what I did. Workbook A will last you a semester or more -- it actually lasted us a year because we are really slow and steady! :001_smile:

We'll finish the book and workbook B for 5th grade. It's worked out very nicely and her retention is fantastic!

Deb in NZ
order from BookDepostiory instead of Galore Park & get free shipping. This saves a lot of the cost. That is what I do when I order the Galore Park books. Blessings,

Snickerdoodle
You can also order them from Ray at Horrible books but I don't know the price comparison. http://www.horriblebooks.com/galoreparkbooklist.htm
