Guest rubilynne4 Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 What is a good literature curriculum for grade 4, or the elementary years in general. I was looking at Teaching the Classics from IEW. Anyhing else out there that is similar to this. What I want to do is have dd read the classics appropriate for her age, but I need something that will help us analyze the book after we read it. What other curriculums use the Socratic method, as well as teaching the literary elements, style, and structure of a piece of literature. Hope I am making sense, this is a new area for me.
