JennW in SoCal Posted May 14, 2010 Share Posted May 14, 2010 It may yet be a little early to do a year in review, but I really enjoyed last year's thread on the books everyone read and what our kids did and did not like. I'll start, although I think the 2 categories for my ds would be "hits" and "meh" as nothing was a real miss. This is all assigned reading for history and literature. Hits: History of the World in Six Glasses. The Tempest Candide Heart of Darkness (I think I enjoyed it more) Lost World (Arthur Conan Doyle) All Quiet on the Western Front (he just finished this so I'm not sure yet if it is a hit or not) Meh: Lost City of Z The Iliad Walking the Bible Kim Any and all poetry Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
