Chris in PA
I am trying to create a British lit class for my 2 dd's. I am looking for a resource to use for British poets. Can anyone recommend one for me? I looked a LLATL Gold but are there any others? Thanks

I would search for it on ebay.
Caitilin
You might like to look at Excellence in Literature--they have a Brit Lit program that looks really good! And the price is very reasonable also, which is always a plus in my book. ;)
Faithr
We used Lightning Lit for British history and I'm planning on using it again for my next high schooler. I supplemented by just looking for poets on the internet. You can find all sorts of things to help you that way.

Mrs.MacGyver
I don't know if this will be of any help, but I am taking a British Poetry class in the Fall and the textbook will be the Norton Anthology of Poetry, 5th Ed. I know there are no lesson plans, but I just love all of the Norton Anthologies, and there are some extra info, further reading suggestions, and study questions on the Norton website to go along with the books. I was thinking of piecing together a program in this manner myself along with a bunch of help from Google and all of the online study guides and "sparknote-type" websites that also offer discussion questions, etc. Good luck!
