Only me
I'm still trying to weigh my options for sophomore year science for my dd. Can anyone recommend an online science class? She has already had biology but I don't think that she would be ready for chemistry. I'm thinking of either physical science or some kind of science elective. newbie
K12 Icademy has Earth and Physical Science w/labs. Veritas Press has many science classes online too. Keystone is the cheapest. But, dry and not much teacher interaction.
rockala
Not sure if you are pro or con apologia, but My son is doing Apologia Physical this year- there is quite a bit of math in some modules but not the first half of the book. he does like it- but he is in seventh and taking it slow, will finish next year. My dd did Apologia Academy online Biology this year and will do the Chem next. Kathy
Sunshine State Sue
I can't really recommend him yet, but I am planning on using Derek Owens next year. He offers physical science and physics. Here are a few others I've collected from these forums: Greg Landry ChemAdvantage Science Jim HTH!
Only me
I'm fine with Apologia but I need physical science appropriate for a 10th grader. At the public school in our area they have physical science in 9th grade and biology in 10th. At the private school they have biology freshman year and physical science in 10th.
