Melissa in Australia
Deakin University , in Victoria Australia has an engineering challenge each year for year 10 students, each school can submit a team of around 24 or so students. the homeschoolers state wide made a team. 3 of my boys were in the team, as we had trouble getting enough year 10 students, there were students ranging from 12 up. the kids had never met each other before the day. they beat all the private schools. one school in particular had spent $1000's preparing their students before the event.:hurray: I am so exited, I cannot wait to see them. ( the university is 700 km away) It was the bridge that 2 of my sons built that gave them enough points to win.
