creekmom
We just finished The Tale of Despereaux in the car today. I loved the reader but can't think of his name. I'm going to the library Friday to get another book on tape- any suggestions? (We've also listened to Narnia and some of Jim Weiss's tapes). BTW, my kids are 10, 8, 6 and 4. Thanks!! Ann@thebeach
Love all the Jim Weiss tapes-kids have listened to Greek Heroes and Greek Myths at least 5x each. We enjoy some of the Magic Tree House ones-they're pretty short. Love the Little House series-my son loved them too! Kids enjoyed the first Boxcar Children book on tape and now they are reading the others. We're listening to Cricket in Times Square now. Sue G in PA
Bud, Not Buddy is a favorite here. The reader does such a tremendous job. Charlotte's Web read by E.B. White is another good one. And, my kids loved the BFG by Roald Dahl (forget who read it, but it was a female).
