Pam L in Mid Tenn
I'm considering an elective of "Biblical Studies" or "Worldviews" for next year. What curriculum is from a reformed theological standpoint? Is there a program that is totally independent? (I want to have weekly discussions about the material, I just don't want to "teach" the material.) Thanks again, Pam
Alphabetika
You might take a look at Starting Points by Cornerstone Curriculum. It could be done independently, though discussions would definitely help. I'm not sure that David Quine (the author) calls himself Reformed, but it leans towards reformed theology, IMHO. MommyThrice
Starting Points isn't even close to indepent work. It was good, but I really struggled teaching it. There are absolutely NO teacher helps of any kind. You just do the work along with your child. You might look at Veritas Press' Omnibus. I'm using some of that next year. At least it gives you an overview of the book and suggested answers to the discussion questions to help you along. I would say SP and Veritas are both reformed.
