Would this be okay for 10th grade chemistry?

First of all, I never took chemistry in high school. Add to that the fact that I despise doing experiments, and you can see why I'm a little freaked out about doing chem next year! If we did Conceptual Chemistry with the internet lectures along with a LabPaq that someone mentioned in an earlier thread, would that be enough? Does the LabPaq come with everything we need to do the experiments? Any input would be great! (Oh, I've ruled out using the DIVE lectures because I don't want to use Apologia or BJU.) Thanks!

Oh, the DIVE lectures are just for Apologia or BJU? Hmmmm.....

 

Sorry, I don't have an answer, I just didn't know that. I AM interested in what people have to say, since dd will be doing Chem year after next, so I'm wanting to note things to keep in mind.

After more searching, I found that you can use Prentice Hall's Chemistry in Action with DIVE as well.

Many different textbooks can be used with DIVE.

 

Watch this Using DIVE Science video to learn how flexible the program is. Dr. Shormann even offers to schedule out the reading for you if you'll send him a copy of the Table of Contents of whichever book you want to use.

I plan on using Conceptual Chemistry with my 12th grader. Different textbooks for different abilities and interests still can be used for a full credit.
