Kareni
I came across this list today of further readings for a Physics for Poets college course. The list has some great titles. usetoschool
Very nice. Thanks. (and on the sarcastic side - great, another really interesting book list we will never get through :D)
Kathy in Richmond
Thank you, Karen! What a tempting list! I'm working through Thinking Physics now, and am learning a lot as a mathematician who has always understood physics through the underlying mathematical foundation. This book is fun and is helping me more thoroughly grasp the physical principles instead. But..but..there's too much good stuff here, like jcooper said.... ~Kathy
Kareni
Yes, it's always a case of 'So many books. So little time.' You can get the t-shirt in English and Latin (Quot libros quam breve tempus.)! Regards, Kareni

Kathy in Richmond
Oh, Kareni, that shirt idea is great. I think it might be a fun gift to give to my dd at graduation! ~Kathy
Kareni
There are some great Latin t-shirts out there. We've made ones like this and this for my daughter. And I have to admit to a fondness for this. Or how's this for a funny one? Regards, Kareni
Kathy in Richmond
Oh my, Karen! That "Carpe Chocolatum" shirt is absolutely perfect for my daughter. She is writing an NLE scholarship essay about "carpe diem", and chocolate is her decadence-of-choice. Thanks again - I love your ideas :) ~Kathy (who may not leave sunny CA)
Lucy in Australia
Thank you! I have a son who loves physics. He will love this list. :)
Janice in NJ
Thanks for the list. I love this hsing for a long time thing. I'm finally getting to the point where I'm thinking, "Yup. Read that. Yes, I agree - great title. Hmmm.....that one looks good." It's so nice to finally feel like I BELONG on this playground! :001_smile: THANKS for the list. Summer is coming and that means I get to read what I want to read. Fun not work! ;) Peace, Janice
