Sugarfoot Posted April 15, 2010 Share Posted April 15, 2010 My older DC have been taking piano lessons for about 3 years and are just about finished with Level 3 of Alfred's. They do 5 books from the series weekly: Lesson, Technic, Theory, Recital, and Ear Training. I really feel like we need some extra practice with theory. Things like major/minor scales and triads are explained, but there just isn't enough practice figuring out how the notes work in various ways and writing them yourself. I hope this makes sense!
