phathui5 Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 For my latest self-education venture, I've started the process of getting certified as a doula through http://www.dona.org . I've already taken their training workshop and am working through the reading list and the rest of the paperwork. Right now I'm called a "DONA-trained Doula," and when the certification is done, I'll be Phathui5, CD(DONA). Is anyone else here a doula or working in the childbirth field? I have been reading a bit on the alldoulas.com boards that someone recommended in a different thread. Those have been very enlightening! I am thinking of using DONA to become certified as well.
