National Latin Exam scores are in!

Recommended Posts

Dd got a gold medal on the level 1 exam. I'm not sure of her score, and I don't care. With a younger dc's medical issues, dd has unfortunately been completely on her own even though dh is a Latin teacher. I'm just so relieved that she's done well. Whew!

Congratulations to all for their hard work and awards! The NLE has been a highlight of our homeschooling years here. My dd completed her final NLE at level 6 (she actually took level 6 last year, but they let her take it again since she's still studying Latin), and she was happy to learn that she received a gold medal this year.

My daughter made a 36 on the Latin I exam, for a gold medal.

Congrats, Rebecca! I remember how hard your dd was working to prepare for the NLE, and I'm glad to see she earned the gold:)

I was jealous seeing all you post your results because I didn't think we had ours yet. Until we came home from grocery shopping right now, and the kids spotted a white packet in our door. It didn't even dawn on me that it was the results as I was thinking they were coming in the regular mail for some reason.

My daughter took the Intro to Latin Exam and she earned a 40/40. She got a purple ribbon and a certificate. She is thrilled. I'm so glad we decided to have her give it a try.

Congratulations to everyone else! :001_smile:

Congratulations! I'm seeing lots of great scores here. My daughter loved taking the NLE each year of her Latin studies. Those of you whose students might take the NLE as a senior should be aware that there is a scholarship possibility.

Kareni

My 11 year old missed 3 on the intro and got a ribbon, 12 year old missed 3 on Latin I and got a gold medal, 14 year old missed 8 on Latin II and got a silver. I'm really proud of them. This year has been pretty hectic and the older two haven't had group classes they've both done independent work which just isn't quite as fun. They'll finish their books sometime this summer.
