Chris in PA
Can anyone recommend a good online writing class for my dd? She will be in 12th grade in the fall. Just trying to plan and would like her to have a good class prior to starting college. Thanks
Sue G in PA
Chris, I haven't had a child take any of the classes but have heard good things about the Bravewriter classes that are offered. I do think they have some for high school students. You might want to check into those. There was another online class I was looking into as well, but can't remember the name off-hand. If I do, I will post. Sorry.
Sunshine State Sue
I have heard good things about Laurel Tree Tutorials HS Composition and Potter's School Advanced Composition.
rockala
I second have heard amazing things about The Potter School Advanced Comp. My son is trying out write at home- on an individually coaching/paper basis. Depends if you are looking for an all around course or just coaching. Yolanda in Mass
We've been happy with Write at Home. My sons have taken: Comp 1 & 2, Essay 1 & 2, and now Research Writing. They both learned much in these courses. Although we've had some truly outstanding coaches, all are at least good; none have been bad. Communication is also quite timely. One last thing - consider taking 2 classes/workshops at a time if you really want some intense writing. Yolanda
