Embassy
how far are you into your school year. We just started week 23 out of 40 weeks. If you go by days we are on day 107 out of 192 days.
FlockOfSillies
This is my first year actually counting days and keeping attendance, LOL. We have 59 days to go as of tomorrow.
athena1277
We did day 142 today. We start/finish earlier than a lot of people. I like to be able to take as many days off as needed and still be done by mid-May. I think we will be done the first week of May if we stay on track. We will start back in July. MamaMamaMama!!
We are on day 121. Week 22 in MFW, and MUS we are on week 23 and 22. We are required to keep hours.. I use HOmeschool tracker, just the attendence and hours portion. We have 638 hours... 362 to go! We start July 1 and end June 30. We do a 4 day week with breaks whenever. :) Edited March 22, 2010 by MamaMamaMama!!
dhudson
We are on week 27 and are at day 132. Only 40 more to go, although we do several subjects like math and foreign language throughout the summer.

Gratia271
We hit 176 days today--supposedly. We still have months of work to do... We are at the same place. We have logged a lot of days, but have much to accomplish before the school year ends!
whitestavern
We are at week 22 but we took two weeks off this month. Glad to hear several other people around this point as I was just wondering where we were in comparison!
MomsintheGarden
We just finished Monday of Week 28 out of 34 (plus we do one week of testing). I used to do 36 weeks, but realized that we need a week for testing, and we usually take off for sickness, field trips, or Mom mental health days. It's so nice to be more than 1/2 way done! FairProspects
Week 24 of 36 here. Still plenty left to do, but next week is Spring Break. WooHoo!
Karen in CO
Hoping my student gets well soon as we are on day 118 of 180, just like we were last week.
nukeswife
we started week 25 and today was day 124, some our weeks were only 3 days, and others were 6-7 days. We'll go until certain things are done regardless of the weeks and days though. We have a bunch that needs to be done.
Carrie12345
150-ish out of 180. Ds has been in charge of tracking his days and resources for his portfolio since day 91. I thought it would motivate him to get done faster. Instead, it has motivated him to finish with the local schools, like a "normal" kid @@. Whatever. We do light school through the summer, anyway. :tongue_smilie:
krisp
We're on day 107. I'm ultra-strict about what it takes to call it a "day", so we'll be dropping subjects LONG before we finish our "days". (Tomorrow is our OK history co-op and I'll consent to call it a 1/2 day IF we get half of our regular subjects done.) As of next week, though, we'll drop down to grammar 2x/week and spelling either 2 or 3x/week. I figure 4 AAS levels in a year is PLENTY and we'll finish FLL3 and head into FLL4. (So, why do I feel guilty about this plan?)
txbloobonnet
We are on week 28 of 36, day 113 of 144. Only 31 days to go!

Margo out of lurking
We are in week 25 of 36. But I'm guessing my dd will not be all the way through with her work, and she WILL be completing that before her year is done.
happyhomemaker25
Umm.. I think we just started the first week in February.... yeah, it's been a bad year for us. As in, we are that far behind. Fortunatly, my evaluator is my Preacher's wife, so she is pretty ok with all the stress we have dealt with this year. She keeps saying, your doing the best you can and that's the best for these kids. :) I love her!

AS long as we do 2 hours of school before we leave home (which we do), then they are good for a day of school.

Mad Jenny Flint
However, I have added in a couple of weeks' cushion for standardized testing and finals. So our count will be higher, but I will record the 36 weeks as official, since it is what is required.
