C_l_e_0..Q_c
One of most common problems of doing high school at home is getting access to a lab, no? Well, I just found out that there's a little company that specialises in science experiments for kids in libraries, day camps, parties, etc.. that's local to us. The lady has a fully equipped lab in her basement. And we can rent the lab! Woohoo! Petri dishes, erlenmeyers, bunsen burners... here we come! I'm celebrating, because my son is all science, all the time, and the local universities *want* lab experience, and do not accept kitchens as being equivalent. So that was a major road block for us. If you've followed my previous thread http://welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=159481 you know I need some of those road blocks removed for me. Well, one of them was today!!! I'm celebrating!!!!
C_l_e_0..Q_c
And DS will be attending the following summer camps: http://www.musee-afrappier.qc.ca/en/index.php?pageid=2510&page=2510-description-e where he will do lab work under supervision, and I will be able to ask for reference letters.
