My review of Singapore Science for secondary level

Recommended Posts

We're using level A of Interactive Science, and I went ahead and ordered the practical book, despite their dire warnings. We've been able to do most of the labs quite easily. I'm surprised and sorry that you had trouble with the shipping. Did you order directly from Singapore.com? I've always had great luck getting my stuff quickly from them.

We read, take notes on the chapter, then do the practicals and the theory workbook exercises. It's been swell so far. You're right, though, it's a lot of books -- but the quality is so much better than anything else we've found, I think it's worth it. I also like that the math concepts in the science follow along nicely with NEM. I wish more folks were using it, because I'd love to be able to talk about. I'm not especially science-y, but also much prefer my science to be religion-free.
