Vida Winter
Do they call trigonometry "pre-calculus" now? Or does pre-calc cover more than trig?
Kareni
I suspect that answers will vary. My teen took two classes at the local community college after completing Algebra II. She took College Algebra and Trigonometry. Both of these classes used the same textbook: PreCalculus by Sullivan. So, my experience says that Trigonometry is a subset of PreCalculus. Chris in VA
Yes, that's how it is for my ds in ps--he says the first semester was more Algebra and the second more Trig, both leading to Calculus.
