Romance - Sleepless in Seattle Horror - The Butterfly Effect (not technically horror, but seriously creepy) Action/Adventure - Die Hard...any of them. Kid Movie - Cars (boys), The Sound of Music (Miss H and myself), no vote for the baby Horse Movie - Spirit Fantasy - The Never Ending Story Quotable Movie - True Grit (you would just have to know me and dh) Most Hated Movie - Napoleon Dynamite, American Psycho, the list goes on and on. Horror as in creepy, scary, NOT as in bloody gory. And Blair Witch Project is the ONLY movie I've seen as an adult that completely creeped me out. Jeepers Creepers is pretty good too. Also Silence of the Lambs, and The Hellraisers used to be my favorite back in the day, but when viewed now...they're kind of cheesy. Pinhead is still cool though. And the RING was EXCELLENT! Also An American Haunting, And somebody mentioned American Psycho....that one had its moments, it WAS a little twisted, I liked it. Action/Adventure? Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Pulp Fiction, Pi, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Lost Highway, Little Big Man, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, Jacob's Ladder, Donnie Darko...do any of those actually qualify as action/adventure? Kid movie? The Incredibles and Watership Down Horse movie? The Black Stallion. Fantasy? Labyrinth and the Harry Potters, K Pax, Galaxy Quest, Men in Black Favorite quotable movie? Monty Python Holy Grail hands down. Most hated movie? A History of Violence, I thought it was goingto be way more psychological than it was. It turned out to be a bunch of gratuitious violence. I like some thrillers. I like The Others. Action/Adventure? I like Arnold. T2, Commando, True Lies, Predator, I like them all Kid movie? Toy Story II Horse movie? (C'mon, it's me, gotta list horse movies) Hildago for me too. Nice scenery Fantasy? The Lord of the Rings (do I have to pick one?) Return of the King Extended Edition Favorite quotable movie? Monty Python and the Holy Grail Most hated movie? Any of a number of senseless, violent horror movies. Favorite Jane Austen movie? Pride and Prejudice, CF as Darcy Whoops. I left out favorite comedy. I started imagining Michelle Pfeiffer as Mrs. Muir and Sean Connery as the Captain. I was so surprised to later learn that there was a remake planned with those two actors, but that it was scrapped after another movie they collaborated on failed (Russia House?)
