Bess
I haven't seen it yet (I have to wait for some kind soul on youtube to post the performances). I'm dying to know how they all did though!
Elaine
David Cook was awesome!! So was Brooke White, but I think that David C. is going to win. On a side note... Who picks Paula's clothes? She looked like the bride of Frankenstein, with that torn frock and the opera gloves. Girlfriend needs help.
Tammy
It looked awful....and I hate her hair always in her eyes.....that would annoy me, LOL! Tammy
Elaine
It looked awful....and I hate her hair always in her eyes.....that would annoy me, LOL! Tammy The worst was the night that Carly wore the high waisted pants. :ack2:
momtolgd
I thought tonight was much better than last week. My favorite tonight was David Cook, and I also liked Brooke and Carly. I thought Syesha did good too. I was a bit disappointed that Jason didn't do better tonight.
profmom
I just watched it (TiVo) and (WOW) David Cook was amazing! I love his voice and creativity! My favorite of the night was Brooke until David performed.
chai
I think that David Cook should win it all, but I love Michael Johns. I really like Brooke, but didn't care for her song tonight.
HSMom2One
:iagree: David Cook was just awesome! I was so impressed with his version of Billy Jean. No one else held a candle to him tonight, even though I still like Carly and Brooke, and even Chikezie. I'd like to see these four go to the top. Blessings, Lucinda

Michelle My Bell
My husband has a theory about Jason Castro. He thinks that Jason is trying to get himself kick off the show because he hates the spotlight so much. I can see that as Jason is obviously not comfortable with anything except sitting and playing his guitar. Have you ever looked at the strange faces he makes when talking? David Cook WAS amazing but I keep thinking he looks like a middle age man and I have a hard time getting past that. Syesha (sp???) just bugs me. She sings very well, but she just looks like she should be on a gap commercial. Carly is amazing with her vocals, but I think her range may be limited. I am waiting for the WOW factor with her. Currently my favorite is Brook White. I love her REALNESS. Is that a word? She sits down to the piano, kicks off her shoes and plays an amazing melody while singing. She taught herself to play as well!!! I love her voice and I just believe that she is music. My opions are subject to change though. Gretchen in NJ
:iagree: David Cook was great. Ah, his Billy Jean could rocket to the top of the charts in no time flat. But , what about the surprise last night? I thought Kristy Lee Cook was amazing. The poor country girl has had to sing Beatles for two weeks. Bess
Okay, finally got to see the performances. I agree that David Cook was good tonight, but I don't like him for some reason in general. I think maybe I think it looks too showey or something...like he's trying to be a rock singer. I just don't like him. LOL Anyway, I *love* Michael Johns (australian). Always have... I even thought he did great last week, I couldn't understand what the judges were talking about. I think Sayesha is definitely star quality... although there is nothing much unique about her. I think Carly has an amazing voice...I'm surprised she's not more popular. So, I guess right now Michael Johns and Carly are my favorites. Brooke and Jason are probably my next favorites. WTMindy
liked the song Billy Jean until last night. Wow!!! What a great performance.
Kelli in TN
I think Jason has reached his peak. He probably needs to leave the show, move to West Tennessee and marry one of my daughters. He can serve on the praise and worship team for my church. I miss Amanda. I don't even like rock that much, and I still miss Amanda. When will Kristy go home? I think she is cheesy. When will Shyesha go home? I think she is cheesy. When will Ramiele go home? I think she is cheesy. I thought Michael Johns was very good, even though I hated his song choice. He sang it well. I thought Carly was better last week. I really liked her rendition of Blackbird. I did not think she was good this week. I really like Chikezie's voice. So I almost always enjoy his performances. I appreciated that David A chose a Rebecca St. James song, but he did not sing it well. I was not surprised that two of the judges apparently never heard of Rebecca St. James. Of course Simon had heard of her, he is the brains in the bunch after all. Brooke was beatiful and authentic as always. She has such a soothing voice. David Cook has his own style, a powerhouse voice, courage to tamper with anybody's song and make it his own. He is simply the best one up there. Now, let's talk about the performance from the judges. Randy always makes me laugh with his "Listen up Baby" and his "Look here Dog" and I know he knows the music industry well. Why is Paula even there? She never contributes anything. I would like to put her on my ignore list. Simon's criticisms are not always delivered in a kind way, but they are almost always right on the money. And finally, Ryan needs to be replaced. I am so sick of him.:toetap05:
Diana in OR
:iagree: David Cook was great. Ah, his Billy Jean could rocket to the top of the charts in no time flat. But , what about the surprise last night? I thought Kristy Lee Cook was amazing. The poor country girl has had to sing Beatles for two weeks. Gretchen I thought Kristy did better than last week, but I think her song choice was rather political in that she probably figured she wouldn't get voted off singing, "God Bless the USA". David Cook was absolutely amazing (just like Simon said).
kokotg
Poor Jason. I adore him, but I don't think he has it in him to actually TRY to win American Idol. I just can't see him picking songs strategically and doing all the stuff you need to do to win. I think he's just going to keep saying, "hey--that song's pretty cool; I think I'll do that one" every week and hoping for the best. Ah well.
