Kim in Appalachia Posted February 22, 2010 Share Posted February 22, 2010 I'm thinking about it for my dd who will be in 7th grade next year. What was it like? Was the work load overwhelming? newbie Posted February 22, 2010 Share Posted February 22, 2010 This was my dd's first year, and she loved it. She was in K12 prior which is parent directed. She would lolly gag and showed no interest. This year she has stepped up to the plate . She loves the kids and the camaraderie. They are held accountable to each other and theirselves mostly, so they dont fall behind. They are a great bunch of kids along w/wonderful teachers. She goes full time w/the diploma program. I couldnt tear her away. Last summer we tried one class, to see how she would hold up and she thrived. She took Summer Logic w/Davis.
