Brindee
I'm trying to look up info. on this, but keep ending up a Pearson, then dead-ending. I just want to find out about this Biology, and what all is included in it. I hear there are extras, like little lectures on each chapter or something, but I can't seem to find a place to figure out that info.! I'm sure it's just me..... Anyone have information on this that they can help me with? Thanks in advance....VERY much! :001_smile:
LBS
The current Prentice Hall Biology is usually referred to as the Miller/Levine Biology: its the Macaw Book. The core edition is a more concise, general biology edition. The foundation edition is written in a lower grade level, for inclusion or "low-level" classes. The regular one is their regular high school biology text. The Dragonfly book was the Miller/Levine text from 2002 to 2009 and the Macaw is the 2010 book (or three books.) Neil Campbell died, but his iguana eye Exploring Biology is very popular. Campbell/Reece is still the AP Biology. The authors' website: www.millerandlevine.com is jam-packed with information about the Dragonfly book, and directs you to their "old" website with huge numbers of links and supports, like virtual dissections....they promise support soon for the Macaw book. I hope this helps you....the huge array of purchasable supports is very confusing, and sometimes the best thing to do is call the company. I have, and they're very nice, but a tad short on time, perhaps since I was likely not buying even one new book, much less a whole state's worth. :tongue_smilie:'Sokay. I hope this helps a bit, LBS Edited February 21, 2010 by LBS

OLG
FWIW, Pearson bought PrenticeHall so all of the books from PH(Miller/Levine) and Pearson (Campbell's Bio books) can be found at the link gingersmom provided for you. Following books by publisher can get very confusing! Mary
