Jackie in NE
My dd is taking French II at the local high school. I am very disappointed with the lack of forward momentum taking place in the class. My dd is used to a very rigorous schedule. She is also currently taking Latin II online, and she is learning so much more in her Latin class. Can anyone help me? What is the normal scope and sequence for a high school level French II course? The *only* new thing dd has learned this year is the passe compose. Come on!! :001_huh: Thanks, Jackie
Amy in TX
I don't know French, but when I needed to know this for my dd's German studies, I looked at the syllabus for OSU's online high school German course. You might try looking at some accredited online French course's syllabus.
Chris in VA
Back in the day...mannnny years ago, I remember learning passe compose in French 1! I know we finished every verb tense (conditional, etc.) in French 2. I suggest looking up Allez, Viens! and seeing what there scope and sequence is--it's a typical classroom French program for high school.
