AuntieM
DS took the PSAT as a sophomore this year, and with the arrival of scores, the emails began... Here's an excerpt from one, in the form of a letter from the student body president: "<College town> is far enough away that surprise visits from the parents won't happen, but close enough that a trip home is easy. " Lovely. I am not a helicopter mom (at least I don't *think* I am ), but I didn't find this to be the best selling point they could have pitched. Just gotta laugh, though, don't I? Also, an actual question, do all PSAT test takers start getting such correspondence, or do they cull out certain score ranges?
K-FL
I don't know re: score cut-off. Dd#1 didn't put her e-mail on there just for that reason. If they want to recruit her, let them pay printing & postage. :o
mcconnellboys
I don't know if all get them, but we certainly started getting mail sophomore year, and even though most deadlines have now passed in senior year, we're STILL getting them! Jenn in CA
Telluride Association. One son got 232, the other got 201. Maybe you have to opt in?

Yes, I'm guessing that's it, ds provided his email address. Ah, well, it seems good for his self-esteem! And by the way, Jenn, congrats on your kids' terrific scores!
