I'd like to give grades and have a question

I'd like to give grades, just A's, B's, etc., no +/-. What is the grade scale? Dumb question, I know. I'm having a mind freeze.

You as a teacher decide the scale, or if you use an umbrella school they will have a scale for you to use.

In one of my co-op classes I use the following scale

100-90% A

90-80% B

80-70% C

70-60% D

60-50% E

Under 50% is and F

They vary but I am guessing you want this one:

 

A = 90 - 100%

B = 80 - 89%

C = 70 - 79%

D = 60 - 69%

Some elementary schools use

 

95 - 100 A

85 - 94 B

75 - 84 C

and maybe 65 - 74 D, maybe no D.

93-100--A

85-92--B

78-84--C

ect.

 

This is how grades were figured where I went to school. Of course, that was a long time ago.
