Not only is there spelling and vocabulary, there is a map study (based on the spelling words) and poetry selections between every 8 words for your listening pleasure. The words and vocab are advanced. We had been doing Sequential Spelling for my very bright buy spelling challenged man-child and it was working, but sadly, ruined in the fire, which is why we switched.
