TMarie
What books do you recommend to get started with High School prep? I'm looking for something written to the teacher that will address issues such as credit hours, extracurricular activities for transcripts... Actually, I'm not sure what I need to know! With 9th grade looming ahead of us, I'm feeling inadequate. We've homeschooled since the beginning with a hodge podge of curriculums. In the past I've printed titles for books recommend here, lost the list in our last move, and now can't find them on the board. :glare: Several were written by the same author... Thanks!! Jenn in CA
I like "And What About College?" by Cafi Cohen. She has another more general book about high school too.
Lori D.
Welcome to high school! You can do it! (And it's fun!) :001_smile: Here is a past thread on this same topic -- and it includes links to even more past threads on homeschooling high school: http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81097&highlight=Homeschool+High+school+101 Edited January 15, 2010 by Lori D. correction
