mammaruss
We were able to take ds to the Science Museum yesterday to see the Titanic Artifact Exhibition----oh, it was sooooooooo much fun!! We thought we already knew a lot about the Titanic---but we learned a LOT more! Now we are off to order books about the Titanic to see if we can learn more!! We are very happy that we chose to go see it!! That is all I wanted to share! Have a great day!:001_smile:
LauraGB
:iagree: If anyone has this exhibit near them, its definitely worth the trip. I get goose bumps just thinking about how cool it was!
Heather in MD
:iagree:too! We saw it twice (once in Baltimore and once in Philadelphia) when it came through several years ago. It was a great exhibition and my son still talks about it! Heather in MD :iagree: If anyone has this exhibit near them, its definitely worth the trip. I get goose bumps just thinking about how cool it was!

LibraryLover
We're planning the NYC one. There's also the King Tut exhibit coming to NY.
Liz CA
We're planning the NYC one. There's also the King Tut exhibit coming to NY. I saw it in SFO a couple of years ago and stood very long in front of the large round hole in the hull, shivers running down my back. But I would go again. mammaruss
I saw it in SFO a couple of years ago and stood very long in front of the large round hole in the hull, shivers running down my back. But I would go again. I had shivers also when I was looking at that same piece!! I don't know if it was the lighting or what--but there were times that certain pieces were a little unnerving! If we lived closer to the Science Museum, we would definitely go again! It comes back here in 2012--it will be the 100th Anniversary--we will be going! hornblower
I don't know if it was the same one but we went a couple years ago to a Titanic exhibit at the Royal BC Museum and one of the rooms was literally cold with a cool wind blowing through it and there was this fake iceberg you could touch. The whole thing was sad. I don't know that I'd choose to go again but I'm glad we went, kwim?
3littlekeets
Okay, forgive my brain fog, but it looks like it is Vegas AND NY right now....is that possible? Are they replicas,...different pieces...etc? thanks!
