lcelmer
I want a 4 year rotation of Bible study from a protestant/reformed perspective, set up like tapestry of grace, does such a beast exist? We have a super fabulous Sunday school program at church, but I would like to have all my kids studying the same portion of the word, but at different depth levels... Malenki
is putting one out. Not all the books are done yet but here's a link to the Bible page on their site: http://classicalacademicpress.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3&zenid=949d5a50586166872552ce80dba8a062 Two years of the four are done. Apologia also has four volumes that are more apologetics/worldview then just bible study, but may be of interest. http://www.apologia.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=

kckamy
We have completed the first two books from Suffer Little Children and I highly recommend it. It has taken us more than a school year to finish each book; there is so much in each book. It will end up taking 4 school years to complete the three books (the entire Bible). I like using the Betty Lukens felt set along with Suffer Little Children, especially with younger children. The grade levels on the books are 1st-3rd but this curriculum can be used with many different ages at the same time. Before each lesson, I go through the lesson and mark the Bible verses beside the different points on the outline. Then I read a section from the outline and my daughter reads the scripture that it corresponds with. We prefer this over reading the whole passage at the beginning. Even without the felt set, this is a wonderful curriculum and my daughter has a very good understanding of the Bible and is also able to find the Bible passages quickly on her own. There are workbooks that go along with book 2 and 3 but we have not used those so I can't comment on them. Also, the suggested memory verses can be used for memory work or for copywork. This Bible curriculum can be purchased here http://www.rfpa.org/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=9 and at christianbook.com. Amy

I was not aware of this. Thanks! Have you used it and if so, what are your thoughts? How much time daily do you spend on it and what sorts of activities do you do? siloam
Bible Study Guide for All Ages, though not exactly like TOG. It isn't straight through the Bible (which I thought I would hate, but they really thought about the order and it is nice to cover both NT and OT each year), and they don't have book lists. The questions are mainly comprehension questions. Lamp and Quill is a 6 year rotation. Though I am not sure it is any deeper.
