runningirl71
Hi! After hearing so much about CW, I've decided to give this writing program a try with my ds (12) and my dd (10). I have bought, used, the IG for Aesop and Homer for older beginners, and I've also bought the Aesop core book. So, now I need to get: 1. Homer Core book 2. workbook for older beginners 3. Aesop B student workbook 4. Aesop B IG I was wondering if the Aesop B IG was necessary, since I'll have the IG for the older beginners? Is it quite a bit different where I'll need to use both? Thanks so much for the help!
Beth in Central TX
If you are comfortable with the program, the IGs are really not needed at all. However, I have all of them. I would imagine the models in the Older Student workbooks are different from the Aesop B workbook, so if that's the case, you couldn't use the Old Student wkbk IG in place of Aesop B IG. Different models mean different answers which is what I use the IG for. I have Aesop B IG in front of me. Here are a few of the stories: The Fox and the Grapes The Gingerbread Boy King Alfred and the Cakes The Sons of William the Conqueror The Story of Robin Hood The Milkmaid and Her Pail The Parable of the Sower The Parable of the Good Samaritan You can compare this list to the Older Student IG to see if they might be compatible. Let me know if you want to compare more stories. I'm happy to help.
runningirl71
No, I wouldn't say I'm comfortable with the program, so I'll buy the IG for Aesop B. I didn't know if it was the same, but an older student does it more quickly, or if it was different. I appreciate your insight and guidance. I'm sure once I start using the program, I'll have more questions!!
