Would you eat this?--Chicken farmer's edition

Recommended Posts

My mother keeps chickens and brought our weekly delivery today. (how lucky am I?!) She had a batch that have been in the coop up to 4 days (she couldn't gather daily this week) Will the "see if it floats" trick be sufficient to test these, or should I toss them?

My educated guess is that they're fine...however, I would crack them individually into a bowl and then dump them individually into whatever you're making. (that way if you have one or two that ARE bad and/or 1/2 chick , they won't spoil the whole batch)

Don't bother to ask me how I know this...:glare:
