Piano Teachers- Schaum Note Speller Books?

My 7 y.o. received an electronic keyboard as a birthday gift from her grandparents. I'm planning on starting her in formal lessons with an outside teacher after the holidays. I took 10 years of piano lessons growing up and while I love music, I sadly don't have much in the way of talent in that domain. I plateaued at about my 4th or 5th year and just kept plugging away through the intermediate level repertoire after that. Suffice it to say that while I feel comfortable teaching my DD the basics, I think she'll be better off with a more experienced teacher in the long run.

While we're waiting for the new semester, my DD is doing Music Ace (thank you so much to those of you who recommended it!) and I just got the primer level of the Faber Piano Adventures series.

In my research of the various options for piano books, I came across the Schaum Note Speller workbooks. I'm interested in the themed books that tie in composer study and stories from literature. Has anybody used these?
