Tried Any Sulfate Free Shampoos?

Recommended Posts

I really like the David Babaii line. I like their shampoo, root pump volumizer, and, hair spray. Our Super Target used to carry this line, but unfortunately I haven't seen it there lately.

ETA: Loreal also has a sulfate-free line of shampoo called Ever-Pure that I like also.

I've been on the hunt for a great sulfate free shampoo and conditioner.

So far...I love the looks of Cristophe and the David Babaii line. I really love the fact that the Babaii line does NO animal testing also. Anyone tried either of these by chance? Would love your feedback. :)

Thanks!

I have a scalp sensitivity to sodium laureth sulfate (makes my scalp hurt and my hair fall out), so I have to strictly avoid shampoos that contain them.

I haven't tried either of the brands you mention.

I liked Onesta for awhile, until my supplier stopped carrying it. I love the smell, and I love my hair after using it. I was sad when I couldn't get it anymore.

I've tried Enjoy, but I don't like it much. It leaves my hair dry and fly-away.

I've tried Jason brand (from health food store). I don't like the smell, or the honey-like thickness of the shampoo, but I liked my hair after using it.

My favorite sulfate-free shampoo, which I've used for years as a shampoo and body wash, is Traite, by Mastey. http://www.mastey.com I buy it by the gallon, but I have to order from their website because there is no local dealer. They're in California.

I don't like Mastey conditioners much though. I always go back to Nexxus Humectress. It's always worked the best for my hair. There are no sulfates in conditioner, though, as sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate is a foaming agent.

Hope this helps.

Suzanne
