Daisy
Can any of you share any of your favorite Etsy sellers? I've only bought once or twice from Etsy but I'd love to do it more often. I just don't even know where to start. If this is in conflict with the rules of this board, maybe you can just pm me. I wasn't sure if it would be or not. Audrey
Gecko J! She's a very talented metalsmith who designs absolutely gorgeous and unique jewellery. She custom made a ring for me that I wear almost every day. She's also our own Jenny in Atl. :D

Mothersweets
http://www.etsy.com/ is a wonderful site that sells only handmade products: jewelry, purses, clothing, housewares, yarn, etc. I love the jewelry from here http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5308749&ga_search_query=mompotter&ga_search_type=seller_usernames Everything I have bought from her (or anyone else on Etsy) has been of good quality and inexpensive. Fast shipping and she is a homeschool mama, too! Another of my favs is http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5082029&ga_search_query=clutterbags&ga_search_type=seller_usernames I love her purses!! Irene Lynn
Ocean Breeze is also a good jewelry shop. It is very inexpensive and nice looking and she is great to work with.
Alphabetika
Laundrymonster does the most gorgeous hand-dyed cotton baby clothes and burp cloths. If you have a baby or need a unique baby shower gift, visit her shop. She is a sweetheart, too. I love Jessicavintage for vintage photos (one of my obsessions). Mirasolfarm has delicious organic body products. Souptoknits is my favorite for wool roving for needle felting. Vermontfairies is a homeschooled girl who makes lovely felted fairies and little creatures. Etsy has revolutionized my gift-giving. I am always seeking to elminate the middleman. I could spend my life on Etsy and at the farmer's market. Buy local!

Oh shoot, I just checked them out and there aren't any examples of one. Maybe I'll shoot her an email. Here's a couple of the previous sales listings (on the right, click on "---- sales" on the shop page to see the things she's previously sold--she does a lot of custom work) http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=16615194 http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=5533815 http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=5419289 They aren't cheap but they are pretty sturdy---her son rolled off a bunk onto one at a camping event once, squashing it pretty thoroughly, and it was able to be reshaped. I wouldn't recommend it as a regular practice, ;) but it was good to know it held up to an accident. The ones we have (earlier incarnations) have held up well, but we don't do rough play with them. She's done them in various colors. Edited October 22, 2009 by KarenNC
