HeatherM
Has anyone used Prima Latina without the DVDs? I'm not much of a TV/ video watcher. I prefer books, so I was wondering if the DVDs were essential, or if the program would work fine without them. Heather
abbeyej
Absolutely *not* essential. Prima is a very simple program to use on its own.

ChicoryChick
We did Prima w/o the DVD's and they are not necessary, however, since we are more visual learners I wished we did have the DVD's.
Tess in the Burbs
my kids hated them. I taught the lesson and we listened to the audio CD's and we all learned a lot!
Heidi @ Mt Hope
No DVDs here, either. I do like having the audio CD for review, but the book is so simple to use.
robsiew
We have them and use them, but we FF through some sections. She takes a long time to do what we could do in a much shorter time. Lots of people complain about the southern accent. That doesn't bother us much... I found it helpful not knowing any Latin, but I think the CD would have been sufficient. IMO you can certainly do without!
