Thanks for the Dawkins book recommendation. I was going to thank you in the thread but it got closed before I could. Then I was going to thank you in the blaspheme thread but it got closed as well. So I figured that only sure way to get a thanks in would be to start my own thread but I am sure that somehow this will manage to get closed as well. The moderators are busy today. Anyhow, hope you see it before it is gone. I added the book to my Amazon Wish list.

LOL, you're welcome!

There were a # of excellent resources recommended in that thread. I'm planning to get back to this & collate a list of resources.

BTW, for folks who don't want to search through the threads: it was The Greatest Show on Earth - The Evidence for Evolution by Richard Dawkins. Just pubbed so containing all the latest data.

I missed the thread, so I'll have to go back and look it up when I get a chance to find the other resources. Coincidentally, though, I had just added the new Dawkins book to my "To Read" list! Glad to hear someone else has read/is reading it and finding it worthwhile.

I couldn't wait so, while out to get chinese for lunch for hubby and I, I popped into BAM and picked up a copy. It is sitting right here on my desk and will be the very next thing I read after I finish my current book. :)

Patchfire, your 10 month old is walking already? My little one loves to walk with his push toy, but can't walk on his own yet.

:seeya:

Believe me, I wish that she weren't! A few weeks ago she had no teeth, would not eat solid food, but she was walking. She pulled up @ 6 months. I was actually mid-LLL meeting, talking, and went "oh no!" in a dismayed tone, then kept talking. :)
