Cera
I really just want someone to tell me what to do. We live in a very nice single family home in a so-so area. There is a fair amount of theft, a lot of noise and the kids really can't play outside of our small fenced yard as we are by a major road. We have the option to move into a wonderful neighborhood without the noise or theft and in walking distance to everything. The houses are nothing special (townhouses) and we will still be near a major road (not as busy). We will definitely move again in June of next year. Pamela H in Texas
no.... If it were a matter of move now (instead of in June) and get the better situation, I'd say yes; but to move now to move again in June-- no way.
thescrappyhomeschooler
No. I'd put up with it until June. Moving is so stressful.
stripe
If you feel your life is being threatened, or there is significant threat to your property (e.g. someone will burn the house down), I'd move. Otherwise, it would be hard for me to justify twice the work.
Chris in VA
Nope, I would just put up with the noise and find another place to play until I moved more permanently. Sorry it's so hard right now.
katilac
No, not for a year. Moving is expensive and time-consuming.
SheWillFly
Not if I was moving again in less than a year. I'd put up with it and look for someplace I really liked in June.
BamaTanya
(minus imminent danger, of course) to avoid moving. It's my LFTTD (Least Favorite Thing To Do). Right up there with planning a wedding. :D
Earth Angel_79
I agree with all the previous posters. I haven't moved in 8 years and the thought of it still gives me shudders.
Garga
I'm not moving until they take me out of here to my final resting place. I hate moving. Don't do it twice in a year.
