Chris in VA
Virginia Commonwealth U (great art school, among other things) requires homeschoolers to have a GED, unless they have a diploma (which you can get if you use certain umbrellas, but not the mom-made type!). MomsintheGarden
Dh and I both attended Tech as well. I'm not sure we allowed ds to know there were any other schools!:D  Ds only applied to Va Tech as well! GardenMom
creekland
Dh and I both attended Tech as well. I'm not sure we allowed ds to know there were any other schools!:D Hubby and I are both Hokie alumni. We always thought our boys would go there as well - and tried to bring them up that way. It didn't work for us... as much as I hate to say it, VT just isn't the best school for what they want to do (none are following in the Engineering footsteps). Oldest wants microfinance with a Christian atmosphere (we did make him VISIT Tech's Business school, but it turned him off since the students there were all about profit). Middle wants medical research... University of Rochester is his current dream school, but time will tell once we research others. Youngest is still thinking (8th grade) - but likes the idea of Christian ministry somewhere. So... I'm on here watching what everyone else does and researching and pondering.
