I live in southern Wyoming. I have not been able to find many people in person or online that homeschool around me. So, maybe hopefully~eventually someone will turn up here.

I just checked this forum and I saw your post "WYOMING"! WooHoo!!

It does seem that there aren't too many of us posting LOL.

A little about me.... I am Australian (can't you tell LOL), moved to the US at the end of 2001. My dh, dd, and I have lived in Colorado, Nebraska before moving permanently to Wyoming. We live a few miles from Laramie.

Having recently decided to HS our dd, I have become addicted to sites such as this!!

Any way, I had better run.... dd is calling for my assistance.

Take care,

Elaine

I live in Saratoga, not to far from you. I would have to agree there is not to many of us posting. I did find one on another site from Yellowstone, but that is it so far.

We are going into our second year of homeschooling. I also have become addicted to these sites. I think most of it is that there really is not to much here in the way of support groups, conventions, stores, anything that has to deal with homeschooling.

Well it is nice to find someone pretty close by. (you know like within 100 miles anyways LOL)

I'm in here too. I live in Cheyenne. I'll be starting homeschooling with my 4 1/2 son soon. I'm busy compiling all my materials and I can't wait to get started.

Elaine - please figure out a way to type that does convey your accent. The Aussie accent is music to my ears! In high school I had a friend from New Zealand and (when finally I was able to understand what she was saying) I just loved listening to her.

Hi fellow Wyomingites! We lived here for years, had a brief forray into Nebraska (hence the Jackie in NE handle), and have now returned to Laramie. Still have the ranch in Ne, however, and we travel back and forth a lot.

Nice to know there are a few other homeschoolers nearby. ;)

I used to live in Wyoming and miss it. Can I just wave and then go back to my life here? We lived within sight of Vedauwoo, up Happy Jack Road.

:D You know you're a true Wyomingite when you know how to pronounce Vedauwoo!! :D

I too miss Wyoming ...

Hey all! I just joined these boards and thought I would see if there are any other fellow Wyomingites. We live in Casper. This is my first post, so I'm headed to check some other threads out. I'm active on the Sonlight boards, but just joined here.

Well hello!

We go to Casper often to shop. We live in Saratoga. Nice to see another one from Wyoming.

We go through Saratoga on the way to Grand Lake, CO. Nice to "meet" you.

Well I know I am still here. Not to terribly closet you, but there are others here that are.

Now there is a homeschool group in Laramie, right? If I am remembering right. I will have to go check.

Well welcome and nice to see more from around here. It seems as if we are far and few between.

Hello!

We are homeschoolers in Casper, Wy. I think there are a lot of us, but it seems to be a Wyoming way to keep to yourself, nice to know you are all out there! :grouphug:

P.S. So excited, we got a teacher's supply store in the last year and they will order in just about anything for ya. We're in the big time now!

Hello,

We are located just a little east of Casper. I have been homeschooling for 10+ years. One son in college, 5 daughters and a somebody on the way! The girls are involved in orchestra, gymkhanas, training horses, and just generally being silly girls!

There is a large group of homeschoolers in this area and the Casper area. Many in Casper get together for group activities.
