Sunshine Mama
We're using SOTW 1 now.....should we read it now in 2nd grade or save it for the next go round.... what age do you feel would be best for comprehension?
Chris in VA
I guess it depends what version you read. I read Arabian Nights in a pretty sophisticated version (wasn't called AN, but it was the stories Scheherazade told, along with her own story) last year when dd was 8--we skipped a lot. It's kinda like the Greek myths--you can read D'Aulaire, or Hamilton.
Free Indeed
It is in SOTW 2. We just went through it a few weeks ago.
Debbie in OR
I read them with my ds10 and dd8...they loved them (I do think my ds got more out of them, though, just because of the story lines:001_smile:).
