Frontier Mom
I just bought Algebra 1 and need to know how to schedule it out to be done by the year end. Can someone let me know how many lessons, how many days per chapter, etc.?

AngieW in Texas
I started off scheduling my dd for 40 minutes each day. That worked fine for the first half of the program, but then she started bogging down. I cut her time back to 30 minutes each day and that worked better. It took my dd two years to finish, but she also did the first 8 chapters of Jacobs and had her 12th birthday one month after she started the program in 7th grade. For an older kid, 40 minutes/day would probably get the program finished in one year, especially if you aren't alternating with a 2nd algebra program. I had my dd do all the odds for most of the end-of-unit sections. Sometimes there were a TON of problems, so I cut her down to every-other-odd.
